Long-time friends for over forty years Maureen and Joan have always had an abiding interest in a healthy lifestyle.

On reaching their sixties they discovered that media ideas about being an older woman were very different from their own experience and so their first book "Sixty, Strong and Sexy - Women Share their Secrets" was born.

Now in their seventies, they are as enthusiastic about debunking the myths of aging as ever. After interviewing women in Australia and New Zealand their second book "Glimpses: Into the lives of Positively Aging Women" was created.

At the same time as these joint ventures were developing Joan has been researching sexuality and in 2014 published her book "Peace and Harmony: Re-envisioning Sexuality Education".
